ROTATION SCHEDULE

Each academic year consists of 13 four-week blocks. Rotations are located at either Trident Medical Center or Summerville Medical Center, except for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) that is completed during the third year of training at the Dwaine and Cynthia Willet Children’s Hospital of Savannah in Georgia.  

Highlights include:

• One block of PEM each year of training plus

• One PEM shift every EM block as a PGY-2 and PGY-3

• Two weeks of dedicated ultrasound each year

• Two weeks of EMS

• Three electives in three years

• One shift at Centre Pointe Emergency Department per PGY-2 EM block

• One shift at Moncks Corner Medical Center per PGY-3 EM block
