TRIDENT MEDICAL CENTER

Trident Medical Center is a 300-bed hospital in North Charleston providing a comprehensive range of services and specialties to Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester Counties. It is a Level II Trauma Center and sees the most trauma in the Lowcountry. Trident is a STEMI Center and Comprehensive Cardiac Care Center. It is also a thrombectomy-capable Stroke Center. Residents see a wide range of patient encounters during their three years of training in this high acuity ED that has a county hospital ED feel.
